The Gita Project is intended for adults.
The service
The Gita Project is a reading app: the Bhagavad Gita in clear English, the stories of the Mahabharata, teaching lessons, and related content. We work on the app continuously, so content and features may be added, changed, or removed over time. The service may also be paused temporarily for maintenance.

You can request deletion of your account at any time. See our Account Deletion page for the process.
Our content
Everything in the app and on this website that we created is protected by copyright and other laws. This includes our English renderings of the verses, the Context and In Daily Life explanations, the lessons, the stories as we have told them, the artwork, and the design of the app itself.
You are welcome to read this content and share it personally, including with the app's own sharing features. You may not copy it at scale, republish it, sell it, or use it to build another product or dataset without our written permission.
The Bhagavad Gita and the Mahabharata themselves belong to everyone. Our claim covers our renderings, explanations, and presentation, not the underlying works.
