Account & Data Deletion

The Gita Project allows optional sign-in so you can sync favourites and reading progress across devices. You can request deletion of your entire account, or just specific data, at any time.

Delete Your Entire Account

Email sai@thegitaproject.world with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. Include the email address associated with your account so we can identify it.

After we verify the request, we will delete your account along with your profile information, synced favourites, and reading progress, and confirm when the process is complete.

Delete Specific Data Without Deleting Your Account

You may instead request deletion of specific data while keeping your account active. This can include:

• Synced favourites
• Reading progress
• Profile information
• App preferences

Email sai@thegitaproject.world with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Include the email address associated with your account and specify which data you want deleted.

After we verify the request, we will delete the selected data and confirm when the process is complete. Your account will remain active unless you request full account deletion.

Data We May Retain

Certain information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes. Any retained information will be limited to what is necessary.

If You Never Signed In

If you used the app without signing in, your favourites, reading progress, and preferences are stored locally on your device. You can remove this local data by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.
